London design agency, The Garret, has today launched its ‘Little Scamps’ campaign. The company will make a donation of £25 to children’s charity, Little Havens Children’s Hospice, every time it is invited to pitch for new projects. The campaign features the ‘Little Scamp’ character, a cheeky kid that represents the hospice’s philosophy to help children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses to live ‘life in all its fullness’.
“Little Havens does an incredibly difficult job, incredibly well. Like all charities, they need to find a huge amount of money just to keep going. We hope that our promotion can help in some small way. Any organisation that lets us scamp up some ideas for their next marketing project knows that they’re getting fresh creative thinking while providing much needed help to the hospice,” says The Garret’s Iain Plunkett.
When it opened in 1998, Little Havens became the first children’s hospice in the South East of England. Today, it delivers regular respite, end of life care and bereavement support to children, and their families, who are affected by life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses. Based near Rayleigh, Essex, the hospice provides residential care designed to help the child get the most from life, while offering sensitive support for their family.
The Garret offers a wide range of editorial, graphic design and publishing services to corporate, professional and educational organisations. Delivering outstanding communications materials – from sales and marketing collateral to corporate literature and educational manuals – the company provides traditional design as well as innovative online and on-demand solutions.
